The great E-debate

Working Dog Education Course

A two day working dog education course will be held during the 17th and 18th of May at Broadmarsh in southern Tasmania.

The course will be run by renowned dog trainer Paul Macphail from Beloka Kelpie Stud in Gippsland, Victoria.

The agenda for the two days will include the following:

  • Instinct testing
  • Balance
  • Paddock skills
  • Force barking and backing
  • Commands
  • How to start a pup
  • Obedience
  • Driving

IDEAS Program for innovators

The Innovation Development Early Assessment System (IDEAS) Program is now open for applications.

The IDEAS Program is a one-day workshop that assists Tasmanian innovators to evaluate the feasibility of commercialising their ideas.

The IDEAS method has been developed and is delivered by Associate Professor Jack English from the Australian Innovation Research Centre. During his career, he has introduced a variety of programs focusing on entrepreneurship, creativity, innovation and commercialisation. He is the author of 23 books including How to Organise and Operate a Small Business in Australia, which has been in print for more than 25 years in 10 editions.
