2009 RIRDC Rural Women’s Award
The Commonwealth Government has announced that applications are being accepted for the RIRDC Rural Women’s Award.
The aim of the program is to celebrate rural women and their contribution to primary industries. It provides a bursary of $10,000 for each state and territory winner to support them in developing their leadership capacities. State/territory winners are eligible for the national award.
The award is open to all women involved in primary industries, including broad-acre farming, intensive livestock, cropping, horticulture, fisheries, forestry, natural resource management and related service industries.
Applications for this program/round will close on Wednesday 15 October 2008
