Course description - KLR Livestock Marketing
Profit from your livestock regardless of market direction! Register
KLR Marketing presents powerful marketing strategies that have been developed to maximise cash flow while minimising market risk.
The fact is that markets will rise and markets will fall, and we have no control over that. What we can do, however, is learn to profit from our livestock no matter what the market direction is.
Course description - Power of Engagement
Increase your ability to communicate efficiently and effectively. Register.
This two-day course is based on the very successful Negotiators Toolkit Seminar. It was developed by Allan Parker, author of “Switch on Your Brain”, “The Negotiators Toolkit”, and “Beyond Yes!”
The Negotiator’s Toolkit Seminar has been conducted in many of Australia’s major Corporations and Government Agencies as well as organisations throughout Asia such as Microsoft, Exxon, Federal Express and Arab Malaysia Bank.
Wings continued…
I should also mention that Wings is also available at;
- The Triabunna Visitor Information Centre
- Tasmanian Wool Centre at Ross
It will also be available in other locations around Tasmania shortly. As soon as that information comes to hand, I’ll post a blog on this website.
Lets ‘wing’ it!
Today I had a coffee with Elizabeth Daley who has recently moved into the district where I live.
I was fascinated to hear that Elizabeth had recently published a book called Wings.
Elizabeth explained that Wings provides an insight into the beauty and diversity of Tasmania’s insects. Many of the insects depicted are also found in eastern Australia and some are found Australia-wide.
The book provides you with common names as well as scientific descriptions. It imparts details of location, distribution, behaviour, diet and size of the insect.
There are over 600 photographs of more than 350 different insect species in their natural habitats.
This is an essential resource field guide for farmers or those interested in insects.
You can pick up your soft cover copy of Wings for $49.95 from your local Tasmanian bookshop.
Hard cover copies are $55.00 and are only available by e-mailing the publisher or by phoning (03) 6257 5112.
Good news for Rachael Treasure fans!
The e-book may give you your ‘Treasure fix’ until the release of the forth novel ‘The Cattlemen.’

Property Management Planning
I am in the process of writing an article on Property Management Planning and would like to interview two farmers who use this method of planning.
Do you know someone OR do you use this method?
If you do, please drop me a line.
